Congrats Melinda! With over 137 points Melinda Beckendorff won our weight loss and fitness challenge. Way to go. Everyone did so well and we are so proud of all of the competitors. Melinda lost 7.25% of her body weight and 12.42% of her body fat% and lost 4.75″. She compiled a whopping 79 cardio points to anchor her spot as the defending weight loss and fitness challenge winner from 2013. She is our first two-time winner.
Our male winner and second place contestant was Brian Bowden who lost 4.73% of his body weight and 37.5% of his body fat% and lost 5.25″. His transformation was pretty amazing. He also was just awarded with Eagle Scout in Katy Troop 424.
Congratulations to all the contestants. We are very proud of all of your accomplishments and hope everyone continues to keep at it. We are having our next weight loss challenge in the fall for Back to School.
We are also in the midst of our MDA 5000 Miles Challenge. Keep it up and continue to record your mileage for the MDA.
