Client Spotlight Brian Courtright

August 16, 2025 By esnhealth

ESN is proud to recognize our client, Brian Courtright, on his incredible success story!  He has been a dedicated ESN Health client since August 2018. Brian is from Ohio, and is the epitome of having “midwestern” values.

You know them right;
1) Hard Work and Strong Work Ethic –  Midwesterners are known for their dedication to hard work, perseverance, and a belief that effort yields rewards. “Midwestern work ethic” is seen as a standard of working hard to get the job done right!
2) Honesty and Integrity – Midwesterners tend to be straightforward and sincere in their interactions.
3) Humility and Modesty – Avoiding ostentatiousness, and appreciating the “simple things” in life. They are often modest about personal accomplishments and would prefer to be asked rather than boast about their successes.
4) Community and Family Focused – Midwesterners are often described as being friendly, willing to help neighbors in need, and prioritize family time.
5) Emphasis on Practicality – Midwesterners tend to be practical, efficient, and focused on things with a tangible impact.

Brian has always been steadfast in his desire to improve his biomarkers, increase his cardiovascular health, and gain strength.  He has not always felt successful, but lately he has realized he is very successful and a great example to those clients that aren’t seeking jaw dropping results, but lasting health and vitality.  Don’t get us wrong, his success is amazing in and of itself.  Through his consistency, he has built 18 pounds of muscle on his frame and started running 5K races to exceptional results. He has a ‘never-stop’ attitude and is a great example to those that just want to be healthy and live a good life and get stronger and feel better.  That takes hard work to stay consistent despite not needing huge gains or significant weight loss success.  His story is proof that individual achievement comes in many shapes and sizes and no goal and result is too small or less important than the next.  Getting old isn’t for sissies, right Brian?!

Congratulations, Brian!  We love working with you.  We know you will never take the easy way out, so we can’t wait to witness that 5K under 24 minutes and 10K under 50 minutes in the near future!  Keep thriving and not just merely surviving!

In Good Health,
Ryan Kobermann, CSCS
